Niagara Falls Wedding

Niagara on the Lake Wedding

At the start of the summer, Andie and Ryan embarked on a journey from Saskatchewan to the heart of Niagara for their beautiful wedding. This special day, which I’ve named "The Niagara Wedding," was a perfect blend of romance, adventure, and the stunning natural beauty that makes the Niagara region such a coveted wedding destination.

Our day began at the famous Queen's Royal Park Gazebo in Niagara-on-the-Lake, where Andie and Ryan held their ceremony and exchanged their vows. The gazebo, which is framed by picturesque views of the lake and historic downtown Niagara on the Lake, served as the ideal backdrop for their intimate wedding ceremony. As they said their "I do's," the couple quickly became a local attraction with passersby's stopping to watch and snap photos of the bride and groom.

After the ceremony, the wedding party and I made our way to the Botanical Gardens in Niagara Falls for more photos. As we arrived, the sky began to darken with what looked like rain clouds, but Andie and Ryan remained unfazed. We explored the manicured gardens, the hornbeam vista row of trees (which may be the most popular spot in Niagara for wedding photos, for good reason!), and some of the old buildings there.

Finally, we headed to Niagara Falls to finish up their photos with the waterfall as the backdrop. Just as we arrived, the rain began to pour, but Andie and Ryan’s enthusiasm was unwavering. They embraced the rain with open arms and had so much fun with it. The sight of this gorgeous bride and her handsome groom dancing in the rain, stomping in puddles and just having a blast caught the attention of everyone around. I think they got more attention from visitors then the actual Niagara Falls did. At one point, a husband and wife were so moved by Andie and Ryan that they stopped to give the Andie and Ryan roses they purchased from a local vendor. What a sweet gesture that perfectly encapsulated the magic of the day.

Congratulations to Andie and Ryan on their beautiful Niagara wedding. It was truly a day to remember!
