A Beautiful Autumn Wedding at Stevensville Conservation Area
This fall, Shannon and Blake tied the knot at the Stevensville Conservation Area in Stevensville, Ontario. It was a gorgeous autumn day. Warm, sunny, and full of color—perfect for their outdoor wedding! Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they shared heartfelt vows and celebrated the start of their new life together.
A Heartfelt Ceremony
Shannon and Blake's outdoor ceremony was everything they dreamed of. The fall-themed decorations fit perfectly for an early October wedding, and the late-afternoon timing gave us that beautiful golden hour light. When Shannon walked down the aisle with her father and son, you could see the emotions hit Blake as he saw his bride for the first time.
The ceremony was full of heartfelt moments, with both tears and laughter from everyone there. One of the highlights was at the end when Shannon and Blake picked up their son and daughter and walked back down the aisle. It was such a sweet moment that showed just how much this day meant to them as a family.
Exploring Stevensville Conservation Area
After the ceremony, we wandered around the Stevensville Conservation Area to take some group photos with the wedding party and family. I've photographed here before and knew of a spot we had to head to at the far end of the conservation area for portraits of just Shannon and Blake. The sunset at this spot always looks incredible, and it was a great setting to capture Shannon and Blake's love.
This was another favourite moment for me. It was just the two of them and it gave them a chance to relax. You could really see how much fun they have together. The way they made each other laugh and smile made the photos so easy and natural. And I especially loved Shannon's little nod to A Nightmare Before Christmas—her Jack Skellington purse—was the perfect touch that fit right in with their autumn themed wedding.
A Fun and Cozy Reception
The reception continued the fall theme with warm colors and cozy decorations. My personal favourite was their cake, which was another nod to A Nightmare Before Christmas and featured a Jack and Sally wedding cake topper! It was such a creative way to tie everything together. The rest of the evening was full of great speeches, lots of laughter, and some amazing dancing.
Congratulations, Shannon and Blake!
