Christopher & Lester's Beautiful Winter Wedding in Niagara

Getting Ready at the Prince of Wales Hotel

Christopher and Lester's wedding was an absolute joy to photograph. Their intimate winter celebration in Niagara was filled with love, laughter, and personal touches that made the day truly special.

We started the morning at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake, where Christopher and Lester got ready together. The moment I walked into their room, I could feel the excitement in the air. Surrounded by close friends, they were enjoying each other's company, creating a relaxed and happy atmosphere. They both looked fantastic in their matching white jackets, and I especially loved the delicate hummingbird details that Lester made for their bouquets. After capturing some portraits in their room, we stepped outside to take photos in front of the Prince of Wales hotel. Dressed to perfection and carrying their matching bouquets, they caught the attention of many passersby, who cheered them on with warm congratulations.

A Heartfelt Ceremony at Silver Spire United Church

The ceremony took place at Silver Spire United Church in St. Catharines. The venue was beautifully decorated, and I loved the meaningful touches, like the rainbow flag hanging from the ceiling and Minister Karen's vibrant, rainbow-colored stole. The ceremony itself was incredibly moving, filled with heartfelt vows and intimate moments that perfectly reflected Christopher and Lester's love for each other.

Wedding Portraits at Queenston Heights

After the ceremony, we made our way to Queenston Heights in Niagara-on-the-Lake for wedding party portraits. Christopher shared that they chose this location because it was the same spot where his parents had their wedding photos—such a sweet connection! Being a winter wedding, it was definitely chilly, with snow and ice covering the ground, but the entire wedding party was in great spirits. We used the scenic staircase at Queenston Heights as a backdrop, and the golden glow of the late afternoon sun made for some truly gorgeous shots. In between photos, there were plenty of laughs and group huddles to keep warm!

When it was just Christopher and Lester in front of the camera, their connection was undeniable. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, and shared little moments in between shots showed just how perfect they are for one another. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was when they brought out a LGBTQ+ Canadian flag for some of the portraits—a beautiful symbol of love and equality.

A Joyful Reception at St. Davids Lions Club

The celebration continued at St. Davids Lions Club, where the reception was in full swing. Christopher and Lester changed into new matching suits before making their grand entrance to loud cheers from family and friends. The rest of the night was filled with laughter, happy tears, incredible food, fun games, and an amazing dance floor to top it all off. It was the perfect way to celebrate their love.

Congratulations, Christopher and Lester! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.
