Marcus and Jenn's Wedding at Legends on the Niagara Golf Course

Last month, I photographed Jenn and Marcus's wedding at the stunning Legends on the Niagara Golf Course—a perfect wedding venue, especially considering Marcus's passion for golf. It was perfect weather, with the sun shining brightly on an unusually warm late September day.

Jenn and her bridesmaids arrived at Legends after their hair and makeup appointments, all in high spirits. The energy in the room was contagious as they laughed and joked while I captured those intimate "getting ready" moments. Some of my favourite shots included the champagne toast in their robes and the impromptu dance party that followed—it was clear that these girls were here to celebrate!
A heartwarming highlight came when Jenn and Marcus's son arrived just as Jenn was slipping into her wedding dress. His smile lit up the room and didn't leave his face the entire day.

Once the girls were dressed, we moved into the next stage of the day—an emotional moment when Jenn and Marcus came out on the patio and stood on opposite sides of a wall, unable to see each other but able to exchange their private vows. Laughter and heartfelt words flowed freely while they held each others hand, leaving not a single dry eye on the patio. It was a tender prelude to the beautiful ceremony that followed, where they said "I do" in front of their closest family and friends.

After the ceremony, we headed across the road from the clubhouse to capture some beautiful portraits with the newly married couple and their wedding party. Marcus and Jenn were glowing with happiness, and it was a joy to capture their love and the genuine connection they share. They are one of the sweetest, most in-love couples I have ever had the joy of photographing, and you could see it in every glance they exchanged—their faces simply lit up in each other's presence.

The reception at Legends was awesome. The room was beautifully decorated, capturing the essence of late summer transitioning into autumn. When Jenn and Marcus made their entrance, the cheers from their guests filled the air, setting the tone for an incredible evening. The food was delicious, and the speeches ranged from laugh-out-loud funny to deeply emotional, leaving everyone alternating between laughter and tears.

Then the party started. That dance floor... I have never seen a more packed and energetic dance floor in my entire 15 year career! Everyone was out there and at one point I even saw one of their grandmothers standing on a chair dancing. What a party they had!
