Purple Haven Wedding | Nicole and Kevin

Earlier this month I photographed Nicole and Kevin's wedding at a small southern Ontario town called Caistorville. I had a feeling it would be a lot of fun since their engagement session involved race cars and Dobermans! The two of them are super friendly, laid-back people who are crazy about dogs – my kind of couple! We kicked things off at Nicole's house in Dunnville, grabbing some detail shots and portraits of her while her and the girls got ready. Their dogs Nova and Dallas were there taking it all in as well.

Once everyone was all set, Nicole loaded up the pups, and off we went to Purple Haven Lavender Farm near Caistorville for their first look. It was the first time I have done a first look with the dogs as well and Nova and Dallas couldn't contain their excitement. Somehow with the dogs jumping up to see say hi to Kevin he was able to still find Nicole and give her a first kiss. Focused! It was a blast taking photos of the wedding party at the Lavender Farm. Lots of laughs and lots of love.

We then headed off to their ceremony which was at Kevin's parents beautiful property. I was already familiar with it since we also did their engagements there. The guests arrived on a school bus and the ceremony involved some sweet words, the pups, shotgunning a beer and a bunch of laughter.

We then made our way out to the West Niagara Fairgrounds near Hamilton for a relaxed and fun reception with some delicious food and an ice cream truck. Congratulations!
