In early September I got to shoot my good friends Jill and Domenic’s wedding in Niagara Falls. You might remember seeing their engagements from a few months ago in Port Dalhousie!
I can’t say enough good things about the two of them. They’re both so kind, generous, fun and the two of them are so gorgeous you’d think they were straight out of a magazine!
Our day started off at their house in Fort Erie while Jill and her girls got ready. The forecast was calling for rain later in the day but we were hopeful it would miss us. Jill looked amazing in her dress! I think I took a million portraits of her. Her bridesmaids all looked amazing too! I love the colour combo that she chose.
We then headed to the church for a beautiful ceremony. As luck would have it the skies opened up just as the ceremony finished.
We ended up heading over to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Niagara Falls and thankfully they were generous enough to let us shoot inside there while we waited for mother nature to pass us by.
The weather didnt effect Jill or Dom though. The two of them had that look in their eyes of two people who are truly happy together and in love. They also had one of the funniest and amazing wedding parties I have shot. Although I may be a bit biased since I know a few of them. But everyone stayed in great spirits despite the weather. We shot inside the Crowne for about an hour until the rain stopped, and then we headed across the street to Oakes Garden Theatre for some outdoor photos.
Once we finished up, we headed over to John Michael’s Banquet Centre for the reception. The food there is out of this world! Jill and Dom had a New York themed reception with all the guests dancing in between courses along with the traditional dances as well. It was so much fun! I swear each member of the wedding party could be a professional dancer. Or at least professional compared to me!
Congratulations guys 🙂
