I first met with Angela and Aaron back in January and I immediately knew I wanted to shoot their wedding. The two of them are fun, easy going people and I knew their wedding would be a blast!

Our day started off cold and windy in Fort Erie at Angela’s parents house. But everyone was in great spirits  waiting  for the day to begin. Angela looked amazing in her dress and couldn’t stop smiling all day!

We arrived at the church for a beautiful Greek ceremony, and then headed out to Niagara on the Lake for some portraits of the wedding party. The clouds broke and the sun came out for the rest of their photos! Their wedding party was a tonne of fun and had all of us laughing the entire day.

We got Angela and Aaron alone for a little while after  and it was great to see how happy the two of them are. Every time I asked them to look at each other, they’d both have a giant smile on their face! Once we finished up with the wedding portraits, we headed back to Queens Landing for their reception.

There is one word that best describes their reception, and that is FUN! It was my first time seeing traditional Greek dancing and it was amazing to witness! Everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time.

I was thrilled when Christine asked me to do her engagement and wedding photos! Besides being crazy talented, she is also a joy to be around as is her fiancée  Jeremy. Oh, and she has an adorable dog named Roxy as well!

For their engagements we decided on a spot in Vineland. It was a gorgeous spring evening that was filled with a lot of laughs, a picnic and Roxy making us chase her when she got free by mistake!

I can’t wait for their wedding next year, I have no doubt it’s going to be a blast!

They contacted me a few months ago about shooting their engagement pictures. They wanted something fun and exciting. With everything starting to bloom we decided on Niagara on the Lake for their photos. The mix of city, garden and water was perfect for what they wanted!

I don’t think I have ever laughed so much on an engagement shoot before. The two of them are hilarious and a perfect match for each other!

We got lucky that Niagara on the Lake was pretty much deserted on such a beautiful evening. We took full advantage!

The two of them are having their wedding later this fall on what I’m sure will be an amazing day!

We met up with them first at the Marriott Hotel overlooking Niagara Falls. That was my first chance to meet Tuesday and Jim and they both seemed extremely excited for their wedding day!

We did photos beforehand at the Botanical Gardens and by Brock Monument. Tuesday and Jim had an awesome double decker bus for all of their guests!

I have to admit the day was freezing! It didn’t feel much like spring but the two of them toughed it out and we got some great shots! Our day ended with an intimate ceremony before they went for dinner.

After their ceremony ended, we walked over to the Crowne Plaza for some more wedding pictures. Monique and Bob were so much fun to work with. They were up for everything we asked and they both looked amazing! We shot inside the Crowne Plaza for about an hour before deciding to brave the cold weather and went to Oakes Garden Theatre.

Our time with Monique and Bob was short, but in that time it was obvious how happy the two of them are together. I think they both had permanent smiles on their faces the entire day and they were a joy to work with!

We started the day off in St Catharines at Jenny’s mom’s house. When I got there Jenny showed me her dress and wow! It was beautiful and Jenny looked amazing in it! Her girls arrived shortly after me, and one of the past brides I shot, Taylor, was in the wedding party! The entire wedding party was awesome and so much fun to hang around with all day!

After we finished at Jenny’s mom’s house, we went to St Catharines Cathedral for the ceremony. What a gorgeous church!

We then headed over to Stella’s for a few quick photos indoors with everyone before leaving to the Botanical Gardens in Niagara Falls.

Everyone was great about braving the cold and we got some great photos! Jenny and Gareth looked so happy all day. It was a joy to photograph them and hang out with them for their wedding.

Our day finished up at Amici’s Banquet Centre in Thorold. It was beautifully decorated and the party really kicked off once Jenny and Gareth arrived.

Meet Carly and Marek, one of the most fun couples I have ever had the opportunity to work with!

I met Carly at her grandmother’s house in Chippawa to start off the day. As soon as I walked in the door I knew their wedding was going to be awesome. I have never met a more relaxed bride before. It was so much fun hanging out with her and her family while taking bridal portraits!

Once we finished up there, we pretty much walked across the street for the ceremony.  We then headed over to the DoubleTree Hotel for some family photos before going to Oak Hall in Niagara Falls for the rest of their wedding pictures! Oak Hall looked amazing inside, and it was so much fun having an awesome bride and groom to photograph there!

We spent about an hour there before heading back to the DoubleTree Hotel which was decorated beautifully by Christina from Gala Decor.

Vivian and Bill had contacted me about their wedding photography a few months ago. They told me we wouldn’t have a chance to meet beforehand, but they were planning an intimate wedding with close family and friends. They were going to have a short ceremony and keep it simple by staying at Chateau Des Charmes for the entire wedding. That sounded good to me, I love intimate weddings!

Vivian and Bill were great fun to work with! They were both so happy and up for every crazy idea that I had including going outside for a winter night photo in the snow. They had a great reception with some amazing games, great food and a lot of laughs. Their family and friends were having a great time all night.

I’m shooting Shannon and Steve’s wedding this summer. But when I first met Shannon, she mentioned to me that she liked the idea of a winter engagement shoot. She gave me a few ideas and we decided on doing ice skating pictures on the frozen pond at her parents house!

It was so much fun hanging out with Shannon and Steve. The two of them are perfect for each other! We spent about an hour out on the pond and it was awesome to just see how happy the two of them are.

We are doing a second part to their engagement photos once the weather cooperates again and we get a little more snow. Stay tuned!

They told me they wanted to have the actual waterfall in the background for some of their wedding pictures. Since Oakes Garden Theatre is right across the street we used that as the backdrop for the rest of their photos!

The two of them were great to work with! They are so happy together and in love and the two of them have some awesome accents!

Because it was a small ceremony I even got to be an official witness for their wedding!
