They held their ceremony at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotel in Niagara Falls. We shot inside there for awhile and then headed out to the Oaks Garden Theatre. The two of them were so much fun to shoot! We had a lot of time to work with them for their pictures, and we took advantage of every second we could! Christina looked like she was straight out of a bridal magazine and Jarrod rocked his suit as well!

The two of them really were a joy to shoot. Jarrod had everyone laughing and Christina kept turning heads as we walked around Niagara Falls shooting. After we finished their portraits we headed back to the Crowne Plaza and into the Rainbow Salon for their reception. The night ended with great speeches, great food and a beautiful first dance.

The weather was awesome for the day of their wedding! It was a little cool but besides that everything was great. We met at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Niagara Falls where they were having their ceremony and then we headed off to the Botanical Gardens for some more pictures! Everyone had a great time while taking pictures. The two of them seem perfect for each other and it really became apparent while photographing them. After a couple of hours filled with a lot of smiles and laughs we came back to get some photos of them in front of the waterfall so they could prove to those who weren’t in attendance that they got married in Niagara Falls

Although it was a bit windy out, Star and Rich rocked their engagement pictures! The two of them interacted with each other and with the camera so well it was amazing! We started off in Dufferin Islands to give us some shelter from the wind, then we headed off to a park with some gorgeous cherry blossom trees before going  down to the waterfall to wrap up their engagement shoot.

Sarah had contacted me about doing their engagement photos and to incorporate their awesome horse, Blue in some of the pictures too. Blue is close to Short Hills Provincial Park in Fonthill, so we brought him out on the trails there and did some pictures. It was a lot of fun and a nice change of pace. Besides a little mishap where Blue got loose for a minute, the engagement pictures went off without a hitch!

Unfortunately, I was booked on Sarah and Matt’s wedding day, but after seeing some of their pictures it looks like they had a fantastic wedding too!

Jacqueline got in touch with me back in September about shooting their elopement here in Niagara Falls. She planned it out beautifully. We started off at the hotel Sheraton on The Falls in a corner room suite for their ceremony. Being 17 stories up and having one of the best views of Niagara Falls for a ceremony was amazing! Once that finished, we went over to the Crowne Plaza for some wedding pictures inside their lobby.

Jacqueline and Colin also wanted to get some fun shots and came up with the idea of using the Always Refreshing Soda Shop as a location. It’s like a Coca Cola memorabilia store with a throwback style to the 1950′s. Jacqueline and Colin must have felt like celebrities while we took pictures there because at one point there was around 30 tourists taking photos of them at the same time I was. It was awesome! Once we finished up at the Soda Shop, we headed out into the cold and finished our day at the beautiful Oakes Garden Theatre.

It was great working with Jacqueline, Colin and their friends. Everyone was a joy to work with and I loved being a part of their day.

My friend Kristen runs her family farm, Sunny Ridge Ranch in Ridgeway. It is a huge property that allows the horses to roam around.

For two years Kristen and I have been planning to take pictures of their horses in the winter, but we could never get our schedules to match. Recently, we both had the same day off and the snow was coming down perfectly!

The horses Mysty, Cheeko, Tatonka, and Maui are all so beautiful! With the help of Kristen and her friend Shyanne, we were able to get a bunch of different shots of the horses in the snow. Seeing them take off and run was an amazing sight to see!

After we shot at Pillitteri Estates, we decided to do an outfit change and head into downtown Niagara on the Lake to finish off the engagement pictures. Nina and Phil looked great getting all dressed up. We went all over, and even got lucky to capture an amazing sunset!

I can’t lie, Nina and Phil made my job extremely easy with how comfortable they were in front of the camera. They told me they were a little camera shy, but I think the pictures speak for themselves with how happy they are together!

Balls Falls is one of my favourite places to take pictures at and we had beautiful weather for their pictures!

Kimber and Mike were great! They were up for every idea I had, and the camera loves them! Their wedding is in June and I can’t wait for it. They’re great people and I have no doubt their wedding will be awesome!

I had the awesome opportunity to photograph her at the ripe age of 14 days!

I love doing new born shoots. It’s amazing to capture someone so young, fragile and new to this world! You can see in their eyes how amazing everything is to them.  And the speed babies grow at is incredible! Capturing those moments when they are just a few days old is something special that I love about my job and something I think every parent should have.

Now on to Molly!

The first one up is Cristina and Brandon’s engagements. I shot their wedding in Hamilton back in August, and you can see the pictures from their wedding by clicking here.

We were lucky to even be able to shoot Cristina and Brandon’s engagement pictures. They both run a very busy schedule and there was only one weekend that the two of them would be available before their wedding. The weather was nice enough to cooperate and we got  a beautiful, 90+ degree day! We decided to go out to Jaycee Park in St Catharines to start their engagement session, and we finished it on the beach in beautiful Port Dalhousie. I love shooting engagement pictures in Port Dalhousie, it’s so nice there!

While taking pictures on the beach in Port Dalhousie, I asked if they wanted to try a silhouette shot. They agreed and we headed over to a spot that I like. When we got there, the colours looked beautiful and we had perfect timing with someone paddling a canoe across the water! I grabbed the shot just in the nick of time before the canoe was gone. It’s one of my favourite pictures I took in 2011.
